Carrara Marble is a stone manufacturer located in Park Royal, London. The company turns over sixty bathroom interiors monthly, using various materials ranging from granite and marble, limestone and sandstone to basalt and andesite.

Granite:

Granite is a widely used material in bathroom interiors due to its longevity and resistance and at Carrara Marble we have a wide selection of granite to suit our diverse customer tastes and requirements. All the types of granite that we offer are suitable for bathroom interiors and are available in the following finishes: polished, honed and flamed/brushed. All granites for bathroom interiors leaving our workshop, for example vanity tops and shower trays are fully sealed and protected against all types of liquid and oil stains.

Marble:

Marble is a very popular material which can be used in bathroom interiors, although it must be bared in mind that it is less durable and easier to scratch. The specific colours and various natural patterns found in marble can look exquisite in a bathroom interior. Marble bathroom interiors are available in the following finishes: polished (not recommended), honed and antique finish. All marble for bathroom interiors, for example vanity tops and shower trays are fully sealed and protected against all types of liquid and oil stains.

Limestone:

Some limestones are acceptable for use in bathroom finishes, although it must be taken into consideration that it is less durable and easier to scratch, so it could require greater maintenance in the long run. Significantly however, limestone is a more uniform material, and is growing in popularity as a bathroom finish. All limestone for bathroom interiors, for example vanity tops and shower trays are fully sealed and protected against all types of liquid and oil stains.

Sandstone:

Sanstone is also available for use in bathroom interiors, although there are only a limited selection which are suitable for use as vanity tops and shower trays. All sandstone for use as bathroom interiors leaves our workshop fully sealed and protected against all types of liquid and oil stains.

Basalt and Volcanic Rocks:

The above materials are suitable for use in bathroom interiors and are available in filled and honed finishes. All basalt and volcanic rocks leaving our workshop are fully sealed and protected against various types of liquid and oil stains so that they are appropriate in a bathroom interior.

Andesite:

The above materials are suitable for use in bathroom interiors and are available in filled and honed finishes. All andesite leaving our workshop is fully sealed and protected against various types of liquid and oil stains so that it is adequate for use within a bathroom interior.

Man Made Materials:

Quartz based materials are also suitable as bathroom interior finishes and the main advantage of this material is its very uniform appearance which achieves a clean, crisp finish to a vanity top or shower tray. Man made materials are quickly beginning to grow in popularity especially in contemporary bathroom interiors.
